How working days are calculated
We count every date from today to 31 December, including both. Each date goes into exactly one bucket: a weekend day, a public holiday that falls on a weekday, or a working day. That way no date is ever subtracted twice.

Public holidays rules
Singapore has 11 gazetted public holidays, published each year by the Ministry of Manpower. When a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday is a public holiday, and we count that Monday.
When a holiday falls on a Saturday there's no weekday holiday. Employers give another day off or pay in lieu instead, so Saturday holidays don't change the working-day count here.

Are public holidays included in working days?
No. Any public holiday that falls on a weekday is removed from the working days total. A holiday on a Saturday or Sunday is already a weekend day, so it isn't subtracted again; where the rules give a substitute weekday, that weekday is removed instead.
Are Saturdays and Sundays working days?

If it falls on a Sunday, the next Monday is a public holiday and is removed from the working-day total. If it falls on a Saturday, there's no replacement weekday; employers give time off in lieu or extra pay instead, so the count doesn't change.
